After battling multiple Internet Cafes, asking every backpacker I've met and purposely booking TWO hostels for the sole reason that they have computers just to upload and backup some photos...I'm still in need of some luck on that one because all I've achieved is putting a few photos from my phone onto the blog. But here they are, hopefully get a post up soon and some nice snaps to accompany.

"You two share the same DNA"

The title of this post is in reference to our mountain guide laughing at the blood sucking leech I had seconds earlier ripped off my ankle, launched across the jungle and wanted to forget forever.

Indonesia was amazing! From surfing in Canngu, drinking in Uluwatu, getting attacked by monkeys in Ubud, Scuba Diving in the Gili's (your girl is now an certified Advanced Diver, hollaa!), and crawling- I mean trekking up a mountain in Lombok. Not bad for just a few weeks. I've done  the whole stint Oli who you can see in most of the photos from my time on the Dawn he was my Edge brother and we started on the same day so seemed fitting to have a holiday before he headed back into the read world.

Treetop dorm in a ricefield, Ubud

Some....interesting art in Ubud.

I was lucky enough to catch up with a couple of friends from around  the world too, James being one of them. My brother-from-another-mother from our three weeks on the Jewel together for Edge. The three of us definitely represented the team well and caused some havoc
on the island. And I had a reunion with Nik who I worked with back in 2015 wrestling Crocodiles and he got me well adapted to Bali life instantly.
Hopefully the photo's show it better than I can explain it.
Onto Vietnam,  but skip the Dog Soup.
